MEET THE BEAL ELECTRICAL FAMILY

Michael Beal

Owner | Director

I didn’t set out to become an electrician but when my lecturer at RMIT said that only two of us would get jobs as sound engineers, I thought the music industry might not be for me – I’d better get a real job. My older brother Chris had a real job. He was a domestic electrician.

My personality is suited to be an electrician, but I don’t resemble the typical tradie profile. Ironically, not fitting that mold enables me to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with my clients. My ability to help people gives me enormous satisfaction.

Chris Beal

Owner | Director

As a kid I took apart every electronic toy Michael and I owned.

We even stood on a roof with a stick of conduit in a thunderstorm to evoke the God of Electricity, Zeus. No signs from the Gods, just our next-door neighbour screaming for us to get off the roof!

My favourite part of being an electrician is solving a problem another electrical company was unable to. Though it’s happened countless times over the years, I still get a kick out of solving the unsolvable for our clients.

Susie Beal

Owner | Director

My spark in the electrical industry comes from my desire to help others. Whether it’s nurturing long-term client relationships or investing in our growing team, I gain an immense sense of pleasure in knowing that I can have a positive impact on the world.

I’m incredibly proud of the business we’ve built. Our team is an extension of our family. I feel privileged to work amongst loyal clients and a talented team and I’m grateful for working alongside my husband Michael every day.

James Petropolous

Electrician

There are three electricians in my family. I always admired the pride they took in their work and dreamed of following in their footsteps. I believe the electrical industry is the most dynamic trade. It is both mentally and physically stimulating which suits me well.

Zac Bonney

Electrician

Even as a kid electricity intrigued me. I was so curious about how lights and power points worked. By the time I started my pre-apprenticeship I was hooked and never looked back. The industry is vast and holds so many
opportunities. I know I’ll still be growing within the industry for many years to come.

Theo Livingstone

Electrician

I’ve always been a hands-on and out-in-the-sun style learner, so I knew taking on a trade was for me. My pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship enabled me to learn, not only about the technical side of being an electrician but also the customer service side. No two days are the same and there’s never a dull moment. I’m excited about what’s to come.

Calum Best

Electrician | Service Coordinator

After high-school, I worked office jobs in the electrical industry for two years. Being an active person, I was curious what it would be like on the tools. When an opportunity presented itself, I made the move from out behind the desk. My role with Beal Electrical allows me to have the best of both worlds – supporting
business operations and being on site.

Mark Marcoulli

Electrician

After studying two years of accounting and management at university, I realised how much I hated sitting behind a desk. I had a friend who was doing his electrical apprenticeship so I thought I would give it a go. I haven’t looked back since. The satisfaction I get from completing a job or fixing a fault is electrifying!

Todd Hocking

Electrician

During my high-school work experience, I worked with a Melbourne domestic electrical company and loved it. They say time flies when you’re having fun and I’ve now been in the industry for eleven years. I really enjoy the variety of work — from finding and fixing a fault, to working with a client to design something that works for them.

Courtney Atkin

Electrician

I didn’t expect to be a tradie, but after beginning a university accounting course, I wanted to venture into something more physically challenging and exciting. I am looking forward to continuing to grow and learn in this industry with the Beal Electrical team.

Will Beck

Electrician

I’ve always been an active kid and preferred practical hands-on work. I knew from an early age that I wanted to get into some sort of trade. Electricity intrigued me so a family friend introduced me to Beal Electrical. I instantly connected with the whole team. I really enjoy coming to work everyday. I love the work we do and the
team I work alongside.
